Help support the Dog Shelter that saved Margaret!

Margaret (the dog) looking out of the car window of a black Audi

Margaret’s story began before she was even born. Her mum, a heavily pregnant English Bulldog, was found abandoned — malnourished, terrified, and too weak to stand. Suffolk Animal Rescue took her in and gave her a safe place to rest, but the trauma she had endured left her too frail to care for her pups.

When Margaret was born at the centre, she was tiny, vulnerable, and completely dependent on the kindness of the rescue team. With her mum unable to nurse, Margaret had to be bottle-fed around the clock. The staff and volunteers became her lifeline — keeping her warm, fed, and loved through those fragile first weeks.

Today, Margaret is thriving. She was adopted into a loving home and is now a proud, much-loved member of the team at Fortress Doors. Whether she’s welcoming visitors, snoozing in the office, or boosting morale with her smile, Margaret has become a symbol of resilience and hope. Her journey from bottle-fed orphan to workplace star is all thanks to the dedication of Suffolk Animal Rescue.
